Customer safety is the first priority in all of our business activities, including products, services, health and sanitation, facilities, and information. Whenever safety is in doubt, regardless of the scale of the problem, we will work to accurately assess and promptly resolve the situation. - (Customer Trust)
To avoid any loss of customer trust, we will responsibly fulfill all agreements made with our customers regarding sales, equipment installation and repair, etc. We will faithfully and transparently deal with any accidents or other operational problems that occur. Whenever a claim, request or complaint is received from a customer, we will work to accurately assess and promptly resolve the situation. - (Fair Transactions with Suppliers)
In all of our dealings with suppliers, we will respect the other party’s position, rights, and interests, comply with all laws and regulations, and transact business based on fair and equitable contracts. Any entertainment or other association and exchange of gifts will be kept within the bounds of general business practice and common sense. - (Accurate Financial Accounting and Public Disclosure of Information)
We will accurately prepare all financial accounting statements and tax filings. In addition, information on the company’s financial results and general business activities will be appropriately and fairly disclosed in a timely manner to shareholders, investors, and customers. - (Compliance with the Companies Act and the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act)
We will conduct sound business activities in strict compliance with the Companies Act, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, and all other laws and regulations relating to company management. - (Insider Trading)
Based on a full understanding of insider trading regulations, regarding the handling of all important information, we will strictly comply with the Rules for the Management of Internal Information stipulated in our Company Regulations. - (Handling of Shareholders’ Information)
Shareholders’ information is important information related to shareholders’ assets and will be strictly and carefully managed to avoid any leaking of that information to unauthorized parties. - (Restrictions on Competitive Transactions and Conflict-of-Interest Transactions by Company Directors)
Company directors of Kitagawa Seiki will strictly comply with the regulations restricting competitive transactions and conflict-of-interest transactions stipulated in the Companies Act. - (Respect for Intellectual Property Rights)
We will carefully monitor to prevent any violation of the intellectual property rights of other parties, including service marks and copyrights, in our product planning, advertising tools, and website design. - (Appropriate Use of Information Systems)
We will use our information system for business and will not use it for personal purpose. And we will prevent information from leaking by management of IDs and passwords and implementation of virus countermeasures. - (Appropriate Recordkeeping)
We will maintain accurate records for all information relating to our business activities. All entries in accounting ledgers, invoices, etc., will be recorded appropriately in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and company rules, and records will be carefully preserved and retained for the specified length of time. - (Compliance with the Labor Standards Act and Prohibition of Discrimination)
In all our employment and labor related activities, we will adhere to the spirit of the Labor Standards Act, respect fundamental human rights, and strive to improve labor conditions. We will neither practice nor permit any type of “discrimination based on circumstances of birth, nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, disability, or other individual characteristics.” - (Prohibition of Harassment)
We will not commit any act that might be misconstrued as sexual harassment by other people, or any harassment such as a sexual harassment or power harassment that might cause mental distress or physical pain. - (Protection of Privacy)
All personal information on officers and employees of Kitagawa Seiki group that is in the company’s possession will be strictly managed and not be used for any purpose other than its intended purpose. Except in cases where there is a valid reason, such as to comply with a court order, such personal information will not be divulged to any other party without the individual’s expressed prior consent. - (Workplace Safety)
We will strive to prevent work-related accidents, establish a safe and comfortable work environment and ensure the health maintenance of employees and officers of the Kitagawa Seiki group through careful health and safety management, including the relevant rules of employment. All officers and employees of the Kitagawa Seiki group will work to ensure a comfortable workplace by keeping their own work area neat and orderly, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, and engaging in sound interpersonal relationships. - (Adherence to Company Rules)
We will fully understand and comply with all company rules, including those stipulated in the Company Regulations and its appended internal rules and the various company manuals. - (Prohibition of Acts Involving Conflicts of Interest)
We will act in such a way that there is no conflict between our own individual interest and the interest of the company, and without the prior approval of the company, we will not engage in any business activity that may directly or indirectly have a relationship of interest with the business activities of the company. - (Prohibition on Contributing to the Benefit of Antisocial Groups)
We will resolutely keep watch to detect any type of antisocial activities and avoid any relationship whatsoever with antisocial groups or individuals. - (Environmental Conservation)
In addition to fully complying with all environment-related laws and regulations and company rules, we will emphasize environmental conservation and work to minimize the environmental load of all of our business activities. - (Sensible Action)
We will never become involved in any illegal or antisocial activities, either in business or in private. We will always act with dignity and good sense, maintain an awareness of our position as an officer or employee of the Kitagawa Seiki group.
